October Updates...

It's been a while since the last update, since quite a bit has been going on. Started another trial a couple weeks ago, but the prosecutor made a great offer in the third day of jury selection that the client wanted to accept, so that one was wrapped up pretty quickly.

I'll be at the Antelope Valley Courthouse quite a bit over the next couple weeks handling some cases out there, along with the usual variety of cases at other Los Angeles area courts.

July updates...

We've been all over the map once again, handling cases as far out as the Victorville, Lancaster, San Bernardino, and Murrieta courthouses. We're still doing primarily criminal defense work, along with some civil cases here and there.

It's June, folks...

So it looks like I'm getting to these updates about once a month... not too bad, I suppose.

Still quite a bit going on, and have been all over the map recently - Lancaster, Riverside County, Orange County, and of course, most of the courts in Los Angeles County. It's a whole lot of driving to be doing with these crazy gas prices, but that's part of the game.

More recent cases have included more DUIs, evading arrest, ID theft, firearm issues, and burglary. Some are still pending, while others have reached satisfactory dispositions.

I've also been keeping up with mentoring and tutoring to help prevent kids from becoming future clients.

Lots to do, but still room for more, so let us know if you need help on a case.

Update... I know it's been a while...

All sorts of stuff going on lately:

Completed a DUI trial, which ended with a hung jury - that was great.

Prior to that was a Not Guilty verdict on a Gang Injunction case.

Potential for another DUI trial later this month.

Worked out a great deal on another DUI recently as well.

Also, the attorney rating site Avvo.com has Okorie and I on there with some good endorsements by other attorneys, and apparently we're getting quite a number of folks checking us out... see avvoblog.com/2008/04/24/top-10-lawyers-viewed-last-week-28
